The Holy Tiperyn Realm (West Frisian: Hillich Tipslânsk Ryk; Latin: Sanctum Regnum Tiperia) is a federal ecclesiastical absolute monarchy situated off the western coast of Artemia in Anterra. A federal monarchy with limited devolution of powers to lower nobility, Tiperyn consists of seven duchies and nine principalities.
Central Tiperyn is dominated by the Izerhert and Skyld Mountain Ranges that flank the Tytsjerkstera Plateau. The Izerhert Mountain Range in particular divides the West Frisian-speaking regions of Tiperyn from the English-speaking Duchy of Hawkreath and Principality of Spencton to the north. The areas north of this range are largely dominated by taiga forests and experience heavy snowfall while Tytsjerkstera has an alpine climate.
Meanwhile, the whole of southern Tiperyn has a largely mild climate akin to southern English, with regions just south of the 60th parallel experiencing heavy rainfall year round. By contrast, the province of Wittenlan in the east is a dry tundra with its population focused around the city of Wineker.
The independent Republic of Tiprain rests off of Tiperyn's southwest coast, while the Republic of Vallis remains across the Hillich Channel to the southeast.
